Who was Peter McNulty?

Half - forward Peter McNulty was a Gaelic footballer, who played for Portaloise. In 2003, he was a member of the Laois inter-county team that won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship title for the first time since 1997. He subsequently represented his county at the U21 and senior levels. Prior to the 25 year-old Peter McNulty's sudden, unexpected death, he was anticipated to figure prominently in the coming season plans of the, then, new, Laois team manager Justin McNulty.
