Who was Peter McNulty?

Half - forward Peter McNulty was a Gaelic footballer, who played for Portaloise. In 2003, he was a member of the Laois inter-county team that won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship title for the first time since 1997. He subsequently represented his county at the U21 and senior levels. Prior to the 25 year-old Peter McNulty's sudden, unexpected death, he was anticipated to figure prominently in the coming season plans of the, then, new, Laois team manager Justin McNulty. Peter McNulty is listed as a past player of note in the Wikipedia article Portlaoise GAA.
