Who is Pierson Parker?
Pierson Parker was professor of New Testament at the General Theological Seminary during the 1960s.
Pierson is best known for his work on the origins and priority of the Gospels.
After the revealing of the Secret Mark of Morton Smith, Pierson published a critical response in The New York Times calling the document "an early Christian hoax".
Pierson was also involved in the Today's English Version 1976
