Who is Reggie Brown?

Reginald "Reggie" Brown is an American voice actor, comedian, model, writer, producer and impersonator. He is known to performs over 50 vocal and singing impressions and has perfected regional dialects from all around the globe. Reggie is best known for his comedic portrayal of U.S. President Barack Obama. Brown is the most televised and publicized Barack Obama impersonator in the world. Most of his time is spent performing his comedic "State of the Union" themed comedy show on stages across the globe while continuing to appear as President Obama on television, films, commercials and new media projects around the world.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Brown attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, where he took studied advertising. He worked as a professional model for several years with Ford Model Management, traveling the United States, before becoming a professional impressionist. He also worked as a writer for WMAQ-TV, an NBC-affiliate in Chicago, and went on to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Alternate Media/ New Media Interactivity for his work as part of the NBC Chicago Street Team.

In June 2011, Brown caused controversy when he appeared at the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, for criticizing several of the Republican Party's presidential candidates for 2012, which resulted in him being pulled from the stage by convention organizers. That performance made Reggie a viral sensation, drawing attention from media outlets all over the world. According to Brown his performance was summed up as "The jokes heard around the world". Throughout the media frenzy that ensued, Brown defended his remarks and won the support of Republicans and Democrats alike. On more than one occasion, he has become a viral sensation on video sites like YouTube.
