Rowan Bowles Rowan Peter Bowles born 25 September 1978 in Launceston, Tasmania Australia is an Australian competitive handcyclist in the H.1.1 Category. In 2001 Rowan was involved in a motorcycle accident which resulted in C5/6 Quadriplegia. Since commencing Handcycling competitively in 2004 Rowan has won multiple Australian Championship gold, silver and bronze medals, National Handcyling and European Handbike Circuit races. Bowles is regarded highly amongst for his international peers for his determined performances and his strong time trialling ability.
