Who is Rui Águas?
José Rui Lopes Águas is a Portuguese retired professional footballer.
He played as a striker, and had highly successful spells at two of the biggest clubs in Portugal, Benfica and Porto, scoring more than 100 goals in the Primeira Liga alone. He amassed totals in the competition of 291 games and 120 goals.
Águas represented the Portuguese national team at the 1986 World Cup.
