He found several literary talents early in their careers, including: Leonardo Sciascia, Vicente Aleixandre, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Alberto Bevilacqua, Achille Campanile. He published a portrait of John F. Kennedy before his election as President of the USA, about the series: Profiles.
