Who is Samuel Jacob Klein?
Samuel Jacob Klein is an American physicist, programmer, speaker, technologist and knowledge curator. He is a Director of Outreach of the One Laptop per Child Foundation. A contributor to Wikipedia since 2004, he was elected as a Trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation in 2009. He is an affiliate at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
On June 2013, Klein was re-elected to Wikimedia's Board of Trustees, a position which he has held since August 2009 and continues to serve in.
He is currently chair of the Digital Public Library of America's Technical Advisory Committee.
He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
