Who is Sarra Besbes?
Sarra Besbes is a Tunisian épée fencer. She took part in the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Senior World Championships, making it to the top 64 in Paris 2010. She has also participated in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Junior World Championships in épée, and the 2007 World Championships in foil.
She participated in the Women's Épée discipline in the 2012 Summer Olympics. She defeated Xiaojuan Luo in the round of 32 and Choi In-Jeong in the round of 16, but was defeated in the next round by Britta Heidemann, the eventual silver medalist.
