Shaq Thompson

Who is Shaq Thompson?

Shaquille Green-Thompson, is an American football linebacker and defensive back. He currently attends the University of Washington.

A native of Sacramento, California, Thompson attended Grant Union High School.

Thompson came into his freshman year as the no. 1 safety in the nation, the no. 4 overall recruit in the nation and was ranked 16th in the ESPNU 150. He committed to the University of Washington on January 31, 2012.

Also a talented sprinter, Thompson finished seventh in the 200 metres at the 2011 CIF State Track and Field Championships, in a race dominated by defending state champion Remontay McClain.

He was also a professional baseball player in the Boston Red Sox farm system. He played in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
