Who was Sir Thomas Crosse, 1st Baronet?

Sir Thomas Crosse, 1st Baronet was a baronet in the Baronetage of Great Britain and an English Member of Parliament.

He was the eldest son of Thomas Crosse of St Margaret's, Westminster, and was educated by Richard Busby at Westminster School. He was Member of Parliament for Westminster in the Parliament of England from 1700 until 1705 and in the Parliament of Great Britain from 1710 to 1722. He was created a baronet on 11 or 13 July 1713.

He married Jane, daughter of Patrick Lambe, of Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. On his death aged 74 on 27 May 1738 he was succeeded by the younger of his two sons, John, as his eldest son Thomas had died before him in August 1732. He was buried at St Margaret's, Westminster, on 1 June 1738.
