Who is Stacey E. Pickering?
Stacey Eugene Pickering, a Republican, is the State Auditor of Mississippi, serving since 2008. He was first elected in 2007 and was re-elected in November 2011 by an overwhleming majority, receiving 75.6% of the vote in the general election. Over $19 million has been recovered since first taking office in January 2008. During his first term, Pickering recovered the largest amount of any Auditor in one term.
