Who is Stephen Karam?

Stephen Karam is an American playwright. His play, Sons of the Prophet, a comedy-drama about a Lebanese-American family, was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and winner of the New York Drama Critics Circle, Outer Critics Circle & Lucille Lortel Awards for Best Play. He is a MacDowell Colony fellow and received the inaugural Sam Norkin Off-Broadway Drama Desk Award. He is a 2002 graduate of Brown University, and teaches at The New School.
