Sian or Syan are a famous Kurdish tribe that live in southern Erbil, as well as Mekhmur, Deshti-Qeraj, and Girdesor villages in Iraq.
The branches of the Syan are the Shemzini, Esdikerri, Dimsori, Salmemi, Kaci, and Piresni.
