1983 –
Who is Tom Carter?
Tom Carter is an Australian rugby union player for the New South Wales Waratahs. He plays inside centre and made his Super Rugby debut in 2008.
He attended Knox Grammar School and The King's School, playing in the Knox 1st XV from 1999 to 2000.
Carter is regarded by Greg Martin to be one of the most disliked players in Super Rugby but has been backed up by his teammates. In July 2013, he retired from rugby.
After many successful years as a senior member of the Sydney University Rugby Club, Carter now spends his time as Chairman of Selectors of the Sydney University Cricket Club. His insight and depth to being a professional athlete delivers a great perspective on attitude and behaviour amongst the club.
