Who is Tommy Karpency?
Tommy Karpency is an American professional boxer who fights in the light heavyweight division. He debuted pro boxing at the age of 20 and has spent the majority of his career boxing on the American circuit managing to win the regional WBA Fedecentro title in 2009.
He has boxed outside of the USA on two occasions, both times against his most notable opponents to date. First in Germany against Karo Murat and second against WBO title holder Nathan Cleverly in Cardiff, Wales. He lost both fights by unanimous decisions over 12 rounds.
