Who is TommyD?

Tommy Asher Danvers better known by his stage name TommyD is a producer, songwriter, arranger, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, guitar player, and collaborator within a number of formations. He was part of D-Day alongside Roger Sanchez. They released the single "D-Day" on Jus' Trax label. TommyD also partnered with Fat Tony with whom he formed duo, Fierce Child, releasing an EP Men Adore... and single "Gonna Getcha". In 2005/2006, he became part of the duo Barefoot in partnership with Sam Obernik. The duo released the self-titled album Barefoot and singles "It's Like That" / "Hideaway" and "It Just Won't Do" / "Days Go By". He is now part of the musical group Graffiti6 alongside vocalist Jamie Scott.

Tommy Danvers was born to acting and singing parents. He grew up in London with passion for music production. He performed as a DJ in many venues internationally including at Ministry Of Sound and Cream in the UK Sound Factory and "Space" in Ibiza. His big break came with his production of "I'm Too Sexy" for Right Said Fred, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.S. and hit the Top 10 in many countries. His production for Catatonia's #1 album Equally Cursed and Blessed earned him a Best Producer nomination from Q magazine in 2000.
