Tony Mendez

Who is Tony Mendez?

Tony Mendez is a dancer, cue card boy, a host and an actor.

Mendez performed briefly with the Houston Ballet and was an apprentice with the Harkness Ballet. He appeared in Broadway Theatre, in shows including "Irene", "Pippin" and "Dancin".

He is employed by the Late Show with David Letterman as a cue card boy and also hosts an internet show called the Tony Mendez Show.

Mendez describes his relationship with Letterman as follows:

"I'm such good friends with him. I'm two years older, and we're very much alike because we're kids at heart. He's very impish. Of course, he's much more intelligent than I am, but the two of us like pranks and I talk to him like he's my cousin."
