Vitaly Opanasovich Petrov is an Ukranian athletics coach, mainly specialized in pole vault. He was coach of great pole vaulters, like Sergey Bubka, Yelena Isinbayeva and Giuseppe Gibilisco, all three brought to win the world title, with the first two also achieved the Olympic title and world record.
