His son is the conductor Michail Jurowski, and his grandson the conductor Vladimir Jurowski, also named Vladimir Michailovich Jurowski. He married the daughter of David S. Block, conductor, organizer and first director of the National Orchestra of Cinematography of the USSR, and member of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee.
