Who is Wan Qingliang?
Wan Qingliang is a Chinese politician. He served as the Mayor of Guangzhou, one of China's most populous cities, from 2010 to 2011, and was then promoted to Communist Party Secretary, the top official of the city. In June 2014, China's anticorruption agency announced that he was held for investigation.
