Who is Wang Zigan?

Wang Zigan was a modern papercutting artist, master of arts and crafts, and famous Shanghai-style papercutter. His works contain both the delicacy of the South and the outgoingness of the North, ranging from flowers and grass to insects, birds, and beasts. His most important representative works are "The crowing of the cock", "Chicken eats centipede", etc. His "Selected papercutting works of Wang Zigan" was published. He once published "History of Shanghai papercutting" and "The creation of papercutting".
