Werner Scheler ist ein deutscher Arzt und Pharmakologe. Er wirkte unter anderem von 1959 bis 1971 als Professor, Institutsdirektor und zeitweise als Rektor an der Universität Greifswald sowie von 1979 bis 1990 als vorletzter Präsident der Akademie der Wissenschaften der DDR.
