Who is Yamila Abraham?

Yamila Abraham is the founder and publisher of Yaoi Press, a publishing company based in Paradise, Nevada that focuses on Original English-language manga concerned with stories of boy/boy relationships, marketed towards a female audience. She describes yaoi as being "a life-long obsession", having created works about boys in love during her childhood, Abraham discovered the online yaoi community in the late 1990s. Abraham is also the writer of numerous graphic novels with four different publishers, including the Winter Demon and Dark Prince series. Abraham has been a speaker or guest of honor at 150 anime fan conventions.

On September 22, 2009 Abraham was arrested and pleaded not guilty for indictment of mail fraud, misbranding a drug, and introducing goods into domestic commerce by means of false statement. The case never went to trail.
