Who is Yeow Chai Thiam?
YB Senator Dato Yeow Chai Thiam is a medical doctor and a Malaysian Federal Senator, gaining appointment in 2009. He is a member of the Conservative Malaysian Chinese Association and has been the MCA Chairman for the state of Negeri Sembilan since 2008, the MCA are part of the Federal ruling Barisan Nasional coalition who have been Malaysia's ruling political party since independence in 1963. Senator Yeow served as the Legislative Assemblyman for Lukut in the Negeri Sembilan State Assembly for 20 years and was the State Minister for Utilities and Local Government.
