Who is Yossi Gestetner?

Yossi Gestetner is a news commentator and public relations consultant in the Orthodox Jewish and Hasidic communities. His writings have been published in Yiddish and English-language publications and websites of the NY Jewish Communities, and Gestetner has been quoted in news stories by mainstream news sites such as the New York Daily News, Politico, and YNN

In early 2010, Gestetner led a PR effort in a campaign asking then-Florida Governor Charlie Crist to grant a 60-day clemency to Martin Grossman to make times for a court appeal. The campaign produced 50,000 calls and emails within an eight-day period in addition to letters from the Vatican and seven major Jewish organizations. Shortly thereafter, Gestetner considered a run for NY's 17 Congressional Seat, but withdraw a week later.

Gestetner is a popular voice on Kol Mevaser, a powerful info-line in the New York Yiddish-speaking communities. Gestetner co-founded JPUpdates.Com - a Jewish political website. Gestetner's opinion pieces are often posted at Yeshiva World News, and at The American Thinker
