Who was Abd-Allah ibn Ibadh?
'Abdullāh ibn 'Ibādh al-Tamimi was a Tabi'i who lived during the reign of Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan and died during the late reign of Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan. He was a jurist and one of the best students of Ibn Abbas, who narrated ahadith from Aisha and a large number of the Sahaba who witnessed the Battle of Badr. He was an Imam in Tafsir and Hadith and belonged to his personal madhhab.
