Who is Adam Powers?

Adam Powers is a Danish-American songwriter and music producer. He was born in Maryland, USA to a Danish mother and an American father, but grew up in Denmark. Powers has written songs for pop and dance artists such as Kylie Minogue, Infernal, Tohoshinki, Medina, DJ Aligator and Barcode Brothers. As of 2010 his songs have sold more than 7 million units worldwide.

In 2002/2003 he co-wrote the song "From Paris to Berlin", which was released by the Danish dance-pop duo Infernal in 2004. The original track was written by Powers in 1998, but he finished the song with Paw Lagermann and Lina Rafn of Infernal. The song is Infernal's most successful single to date, peaking inside the top ten of the charts in countries such as Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands in 2005/2006. Powers also co-wrote several other tracks from the album From Paris to Berlin, including "Keen on Disco" and "I Won't Be Crying".

In 2006 Powers co-wrote the song "Like a Drug", which was released by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue in 2007 on her album X.

In 2009 Powers co-wrote "You and I" by Danish electro-pop singer Medina, which was a top ten hit in Bulgaria, the United States, Germany and Russia.
