Who was Adriano Alpago Novello?
Adriano Alpago Novello was an Italian architect, art historian and professor. In 1968 he founded the Center for the Research of Armenian Medieval Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, the "Documenti di architettura Armena" and "Ricerca sull' architettura Armena" series.
He was the organizer of the exhibition of Medieval Armenian Architecture which visited several Italian cities and more than eighteen countries from South America to Iran and Armenia.
