Who is Rab Townsend?

Rab Townsend is a musician, composer, writer, and photographer. He was born in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada.

Under the aliases of Dj_Starchild and Aetherius, Rab has composed and self-produced four albums of electronic and experimental music since 2001, and continues to produce music at his own pace.

As a poet and writer, Rab's work tends toward existential literature, with vivid and often violent imagery. Underneath his writing hides a dry, and sometimes absurdist sense of humour.

Rab produces visual art under the moniker Hatebunny, with a focus on photography. His style features a high level of detail, with bright, vivid colours that are often beyond a true-to-life representation. His drawings and paintings are often surreal and cartoonish, but with violent undertones.

He currently resides in Etobicoke, Ontario; a suburb of the Greater Toronto Area, where he attempts to keep up with his hobbies while maintaining a day job.
