Who was Albert Koebele?
Albert Koebele was a German/American entomologist. He moved to the United States at a young age and was naturalized in 1880. He did notable work with the United States Department of Agriculture on using Coccinellidae to combat citrus pests. He returned to Europe in 1908 and due to World War I was not able to return to the US so he died in Germany.
