Who is Alessandro Lucarelli?

Alessandro Lucarelli is an Italian football defender. He currently plays for Parma. He is a left-footed centre back who can also play left back.

He is the younger brother of Cristiano Lucarelli, who played for Napoli. Both the Lucarelli brothers captained their respective clubs for the 2006–07 season.

He was exchanged to A.C. Siena in summer 2007 for Francesco Cozza, but he then left for Genoa C.F.C., signed a three year contract. Genoa paid €1.9 million to Siena to acquire Lucarelli.

In summer 2008, he rejoined Cristiano at Parma F.C., for €1.2 million, That transfer window Parma also signed Julio César de León for €2.9M and Genoa signed half of the contract of Magnus Troest for €1.5 million and Andrea Gasbarroni for €2 million.

Alessandro has made 57 appearances in Serie A, 37 in Serie B and five in the Coppa Italia, although his brother has since left.
