Who is Alex Sandro?

Alex Sandro Lobo Silva, or simply Alex Sandro, is a Brazilian footballer, who plays for F.C. Porto in Portugal, as a left back. An offensive minded defender, espnfc.com describes him as a player who is a "powerful runner, can beat opponents one-on-one and is an excellent crosser of the ball."

Alex Sandro also plays for Brazil's national football team, where he has gained 6 caps so far. He recently played for Santos, but joined Porto for €9.6 million euros, alongside teammate and countryman Danilo, who play as the right back.

Alex Sandro also represented Brazil under-23, at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he gained 3 matches, including the final against Mexico where Brazil lost 2-1.
