Who was Alexander Kazarsky?
Aleksander Ivanovich Kazarsky, was a Russian Navy officer, the hero of the Russo-Turkish War. Kazarsky was the captain of brig Mercury and became famous after the victory in the battle against two Turkish ships of the line.
