Who is Alexander Slafkovsky?

Alexander Slafkovský is a Slovak slalom canoer who has competed since the late 1990s.

He won six medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with five golds and one silver. At the European Championships he has won a total of 15 medals.

Slafkovský also won the overall World Cup title in 2012 in the C-1 category.

His father Alexander Slafkovský is the mayor of Liptovský Mikuláš.
