Who was Alexandrine de Bleschamp?
Alexandrine de Bleschamp was a French noblewoman. She was already the widow of the banker Hippolyte Jouberthon, and thus known as "Madame Jouberthon", when she became the second wife of Lucien Bonaparte, a younger brother of Napoleon Bonaparte. She and her second husband had nine children, including:
Charles Lucien Bonaparte, naturalist and ornithologist.
Louis Lucien Bonaparte.
Pierre Napoleon Bonaparte.
