Who is Alfred Pike Bissonnet?

Alfred Pike Bissonnet is a former Canadian diplomat. He was born in Stanstead, Quebec, the son of Alfred Joseph Bissonnet and Josephine Pike, and studied at Stanstead College and Bishop's University. Bissonnet served overseas during World War II, joining the Department of Trade and Commerce at the end of the war.

He was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Indonesia in 1968, and then concurrently as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.
