Who is Aliona Savchenko?
Aliona Savchenko is a German-Ukrainian pair skater. With partner Robin Szolkowy, she is the 2010 and 2014 Olympic bronze medalist, a four-time World Champion, a four-time European Champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final Champion, and a seven-time German National Champion.
With former partner Stanislav Morozov, she won the 2000 World Junior Championships and was the 2000 & 2001 Ukrainian Champion. They represented Ukraine at the 2002 Winter Olympics, where they placed 15th.
Savchenko and Szolkowy scored the first 10.0 ever given by a judge under the ISU Judging System.
