Who is Allen J. Gula, Jr?
Al currently serves as an advisor to Franklin Resources, a $425 billion
global asset management company. He also serves as a consultant and
board member to several privately held companies, assisting in strategy
development, operational scalability, and financing. Additionally Al is
an investor in a number of technology-based businesses. Al has more
than 25 years’ experience in the financial technology and services
industry. Prior to his current advisory role with Franklin Resources,
Al served as the Co-president and Chief Information Officer of Franklin
Resources. Previously Al was Executive Vice President at KeyCorp, board
member of KeyBank NA, KeyBank USA, and MasterCard USA, and Chairman
Chief Executive Officer of Key Services Corporation. Along with
his wife, Lynn, he founded The Mountains of Hope Foundation, a
non-profit trust primarily dedicated to funding metastic breast cancer
research. Al received his MBA from Case-Western Reserve University.
