Who is Allison Machado?

Allison Nicole Machado is a beauty queen from Medford, Oregon who has competed in the 2006 Miss USA pageant.

Machado won the Miss Oregon USA 2006 title in a state pageant held in late 2005. It was her first attempt at the title. She has American Indian heritage as a descendant of Oklahoma's Kiowa tribe. She represented Oregon in the Miss USA 2006 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland on her 24th birthday April 21, 2006. The pageant was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky.

Her sister titleholder was Kelci Flowers, Miss Oregon Teen USA 2006.

Machado graduated from Phoenix High School in 2000 and went on to complete a degree in liberal arts from Lane Community College and Rogue Community College. She currently works at Silverton Hospital, Silverton Or.

Allison is known as "Ali" by family and friends. She is the oldest of six children. She has 5 younger brothers who all have graduated from Phoenix High School. Her parents are Al and Debbie Machado.

Her interests and hobbies include reading, journaling, painting, playing Scrabble, baking, interior decorating and playing sports.
