Who was Alyn Beals?
Alyn Richard Beals was a professional American football end/defensive end in the All-America Football Conference and the National Football League. He played six seasons for the San Francisco 49ers. In 1949, he led the AAFC in scoring with 73 points, and when the AAFC folded at the end of that year, he was the league's all-time scoring leader with 285 points.
