Who is Andon Dončevski?

Andon Dončevski is a former football player for FK Vardar, in the Republic of Macedonia. In his career he represented the Yugoslavian national team, as well as scoring a record 217 goals for Vardar. His popularity hit a peak when he was appointed to coach Vardar and under his instruction Vardar became a champion in old Yugoslavian league.

Under his wing were players such as Darko Pančev, Ilija Najdoski, Čedomir Janevski, Dragan Kanatlarovski and Vujadin Stanojkovic, such players that gave pleasure to fans spectating the game and promoting the Macedonian football around the world.

Dončevski took a new challenge to pass on his experience abroad to Anorthosis Famagusta, Espérance de Tunis, Preston Lions FC, the VPL, in Australia.
