Who is Andre Iguodala?
Andre Tyler Iguodala is an American professional basketball swingman for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. After attending Lanphier High School in Springfield, Illinois, Iguodala enrolled at the University of Arizona. After completing two years, he left college for the 2004 NBA Draft, where he was drafted 9th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. Iguodala played in Philadelphia until the summer of 2012, when he was traded to Denver in a four team trade involving Dwight Howard and Andrew Bynum. He was acquired by Golden State in 2013.
Iguodala has been named to the All-Star game and the NBA All-Defensive team, and was selected for the American men's basketball team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship and 2012 Summer Olympics, winning the gold medal both times. He is known for his athleticism and dunking abilities. Iguodala is considered to be one of the league's best perimeter defenders and shooting guards.
