Who is André Lotterer?
André Lotterer is a German auto racing driver. He is best known for his success in endurance racing—including three victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the drivers' title of the FIA World Endurance Championship—with the works Audi team, and he has also competed in the Japanese Super Formula series for over a decade, winning it in 2011.
Lotterer was a test driver for the Jaguar Formula One team in 2002, but this did not lead to a race seat. Twelve years later, he joined Caterham, replacing Kamui Kobayashi at the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix.
