Who is Andrew Daish?

Andrew James Kalen Daish is a Welsh-born Swedish rugby union player.

He started playing at the age of six for Old Albanians, and represented Hertfordshire at U12, U14, U16 and U18. He also represented London and South East Division at U16, Wales Youth and Wales Schools and Wales U19, and was Rugby Captain at Verulam School, St Albans.

At senior level, he has played for London Welsh, while studying at London South Bank University for a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.

Upon successful completion, he gained a place to study for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Birmingham University. At this time he was recommended to Pertemps Bees.

In his first season with Birmingham & Solihull, he won the fans’ most promising player award, as well as being the leading try scorer.

He was named in the Birmingham Post’s Midland Select XV.

He has represented the Sweden National Rugby Union Team and been capped 12 times with 6 tries. He is also captained the XII side.

He is currently playing in National 1 for Old Albanian RFC

He is currently coaching the 1st XV Rugby squad at St Georges School, Harpenden.
