Who is Andrew Thomas?
Andrew Peyton Thomas is an American politician, author, and disbarred attorney. He served as the county attorney for Maricopa County in Arizona until April 1, 2010, when he announced his resignation, as required by Arizona law, in order to run for the office of Arizona Attorney General. Thomas was the subject of an FBI investigation regarding abuse of power and unethical behavior while county attorney. On April 10, 2012, Thomas was disbarred by a disciplinary panel of the Arizona State Supreme Court for his actions as county attorney.
