Who is Andrew Rodriguez?
Andrew Rodriguez is a Canadian singer-songwriter, raised in Montreal and now based in Toronto. Rodriguez was formerly the lead singer and songwriter for Bodega and is now a solo artist.
In 1999, Bodega worked with Flaming Lips record producer Dave Fridmann on the album Without a Plan, before the band went through a series of lineup changes. Original members Sam Goldberg and Kim Temple left, and Windsor-bred drummer Gavin Maguire was brought in.
Rodriguez self-released an eponymous EP on 23 March 2007. He released his full-length debut solo album, Here Comes the Light, in 2007 on Toronto's The Baudelaire Label. The lead single, "Astonished Heart", has received airplay on CBC Radio 3.
