Who is Andrew Verhalen?

Andrew Verhalen joined Matrix Partners in 1992. From 1986 through 1991 he served as a divisional vice president at 3Com Corporation. There he started and grew a division responsible for network adapters and hubs to more than $250 million in sales. From 1981 to 1986 he worked in the Microprocessor Group at Intel Corporation in a variety of marketing management and strategic planning roles.

Mr. Verhalen earned Master of Business Administration, Master of Engineering (E.E.), and a Bachelor of Science (E.E.) degrees, all from Cornell University.

Andy serves or has served as a director of Alteon WebSystems, Ambarella, Arroyo Video Solutions (acquired by Cisco Systems), Blue Martini Software, Cadia Networks, Copper Mountain Networks,Digital Fountain, DVC Labs, The Fanfare Group, Openwave Systems, Red Pepper Software, SiTera, Turnstone Systems, and WatchGuard Technologies. He also helped start and led Matrix's investment in Grand Junction Networks, now a major division of Cisco Systems.
