Who is Andy Freed?

Andy Freed is a radio play-by-play announcer of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team. He and Dave Wills have worked as the team's radio duo since 2005 and are signed through the 2013 season. During baseball's offseason, Freed broadcasts college basketball games for ESPN Regional.

Freed's radio career has featured work with the Pawtucket Red Sox, the Trenton Thunder, and the St. Lucie Mets in minor league baseball. He also did radio broadcasts for Providence College basketball, Rider University basketball, College of New Jersey football, and Baltimore Spirit soccer. Freed started his broadcast career at his alma mater, Towson State University, where he covered various sporting events for the university's radio station, WTMD.

Andy has been known to often work Howard Stern references into his broadcasts.
