Who is Ang Wee Hiong?

Ang Wee Hiong (Chinese: 洪伟雄), is the current CEO and Principal of Hwa Chong Institution in Singapore. He has overseen the merger of Hwa Chong Junior College and The Chinese High School to form Hwa Chong Institution, under the Integrated Programme scheme offered by the Ministry of Education of Singapore.Ang Wee Hiong received his Master of Arts from Nanyang Technological University. He was previously the Vice-Principal at Raffles Junior College (RJC)and Principal of Queensway Secondary School. The secondary school was subsequently selected by the Institute of Education of Singapore and University of London for their joint research study entitled "The Culture of Change: Case Studies of Improving Schools in Singapore and London."He became the Principal of the former Hwa Chong Junior College in 1998.Ang Wee Hiong was also a Senior Inspector of Schools at the Schools Division and Deputy Director at the Curriculum Planning Development Division in the Ministry of Education, before joining Hwa Chong.
