Who is Ann C. Mulé?

Ann C. Mule is Chief Governance Officer, Assistant General Counsel, and CorporateSecretary for Sunoco. Ms. Mule's responsibilities include corporate governance and general corporate, securities and legal finance work. She has served as the Corporate Secretary of Sunoco's Board of Directors and its Governance, Compensation, Executive and Public Affairs Committees since 1995. As Chief Governance Officer, she is responsible for supporting Sunoco's Governance Committee and Board in implementing best practices in corporate governance. Prior to her current position, Ms. Mule was responsible for various legal functions, including the management of Sunoco's toxic tort and product liability litigation and management of Sunoco's intellectual property legal work. Joining Sunoco in 1980, she has held numerous attorney positions prior to becoming Assistant General Counsel.Currently, Ms. Mule is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries(ASCS), having previously served on its Board of Directors, the Executive SteeringCommittee, the National Conference Committee, and on the Advisory Board of the MiddleAtlantic Chapter of ASCS. She is currently a member of the Corporate Practices Committee ofASCS. Ms. Mule is also a member of the American Bar, Pennsylvania Bar and Philadelphia BarAssociations (PBA). She previously served as Chair of the Business Law Section and as amember of the Board of Governors for the PBA. In addition, she previously served as Chair ofthe Committee on Securities Regulation for the PBA and Vice Chair of the Executive Counsel ofthe Corporate and Securities Law Committee of the American Corporate Counsel Association.She was a member of the Title 15 Task Force of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Mulecurrently serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Zoo.Ms. Mule is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Joseph's University (1978), a cum laudegraduate of Villanova University School of Law (1981) and is a member of the PennsylvaniaBar.
